T440 Hard Top
The high-power recreational boat, a fisherman on the outside, and cruiser on the inside
“Flagship” does not mean “the largest boat in the fleet”.
It means to have shapes and contents that make the boat the sum of all the qualities expressed by the members of a fleet.
The Tuccoli T 440 has this role in the range of the shipyard and shows that in every aspect of its nature.
The fisherman line, dynamic and muscly by nature, is here enhanced by its size. From stern to bow, the sheer line follows its typical characteristic curve and after a sudden change of flex at the end of the cockpit, it continues towards the high bow that is typical of the category.
The forward freeboard combined with the large sections of the front portion have the advantage of making the boat dry, even when the wind begins to swell the waves, and add living space both inside and outside. A huge potential in terms of comfort and usability for the tireless fisherman as well as the more relaxed yachtsman.
T440 Hard Top in Detail
The numbers of the Tuccoli I 440 alone are sufficient to explain the multitude of possibilities she offers. The boat features a cockpit of 6.80 square meters, where the owner can choose whether to install a fighting chair from which to catch his large preys and carry them on board with ease thanks to low bulwarks. Or to have a sofa convertible into a sundeck.
Even the five-square-meter of padded area in the bow is dedicated to sunbathing activities and can be reached through two 20 cm side-decks, which guarantee absolute comfort and safety. The superstructure is dependent on the main use of the T 440. For big game fishermen, the choice falls on the version with tuna tower: covered by a bimini, with dashboard, pilot, and co-pilot’s seat. Alternatively, the choice falls on the hardtop which, 4.20 meters long and 2.60 meters wide, covers the entire outdoor living area. The latter houses a C-shaped sofa, an adjustable table, and a galley equipped with a glass-ceramic cooktop, a sink with a mixer tap, and a 50-liter fridge.
This space gives access to the indoor living area, characterized by a dinette furnished with wood and custom fabrics and equipped with an LCD TV. The kitchenette is functional and fully-equipped. The central dinette leads to the master cabin and, on the starboard side, to the double guest cabin, both with an en-suite bathroom. At sea, the T440 maintains the characteristics of an all-weather boat typical of all fisherman boats. The high hull and fore bulwarks keep the deck dry and ensure great visibility from the helm station even in rough sea and wind conditions. The customization possibilities of the deck make the Tuccoli T 440 perfect to be used as a big game fisherman or an excellent family cruiser.
